History Of A Dream

Jorge “Kiki” Vega is an aficionado guitarist who began to play at 17 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. His first home studio recording project began in late 2005, while exploring new venues as a professional recording mixing engineer; as a result of his cover band looking for a place to practice and record demos for the venues.

Kiki studied Electric Engineer and Computer Programming for several years, but later on quits to be a full time worker. He founded a telecom company since 2005, till this day forth, and is also the main reason why he quit playing from time to time and put a hold his dreams to pursue his love and passion for music.

After 13 years working for other contractors and employers, he quit jobs, applied for a loan and began building his dream; his first studio room, Eternal Dream Records. These four walls were his practice room, rehearsal room and sometimes recording tracking and mixing.

Years passed, equipment reviews took place; as well as tests, trials and errors, but it became a slow, but secure, learning passage for Jorge. To keep up with the technology of the music industry, he enrolled on online courses, went to presence classes as well, viewed different live shows and worked with various, local and international, artists.

Always aiming for perfection in sound, dynamics, loudness, clarity, fatness, punchiness and that analog sound, that reminds every musician the quest and desires for a good music production, Jorge continued with his endless journey working off different studios, making custom made cables(handmade), and breakout cables for different local studios in the neighborhood. He has been to various outstanding studios in the island, were he met with the best in the industry.

Up today, apart of playing different tribute bands on various venues, he made some upgrades and modified the rooms at full scale; better equipment, better instruments, better acoustics, better approach. And has gain the confidence, experience and reputation to push quality, and the organic sound of any musician aspire, to record or put on their mix.
